We are on the lookout for a multi-skilled web developer with WordPress or Drupal 8 to join a first-class digital marketing agency in Bath who deliver cutting websites for iconic charities.

The experience we need.

- Front-end: Gulp/webpack/npm, CSS (SASS), Twig/HTML, ES6/JS, SVG
- Back-end: Drupal 8, WordPress, sometimes Bolt CMS or microframeworks. PHP, MySQL
- Other: Git, Bash, GNU Make, various command line tools, familiarity with Apache server
- You are happy to work independently but aren’t afraid to ask for help when you encounter tricky issues, and you’re always willing to help colleagues to find solutions when they get stuck.

The role.

As the successful web developer, you'll be part of a seven-strong in-house team of developers. Your main focus is to develop the back end and front end of new websites and other digital products, including e-readers and interactives, using a variety of frameworks, CMSs and languages. You will also carry out regular maintenance and upgrades to existing sites.

A growing platform solutions provider are looking to expand their team with a junior AWS engineer in their close knit team on the outskirts of Coventry. A key candidate will have a willingness to learn and be able to communicate effectively throughout the team.

Day to day

As part of the team you will be required to take on certain responsibilities. Here is an opportunity to join an award-winning technology start up In Central London. They are well funded and now hugely revenue generating. They are a leader in their field that have truly revolutionised their industry. Our client has been so successful in their market their product is being utilised by 50 million customers globally and have clients both at government and global crop sector level. Our client receives 1.5 trillion monthly data requests from their customers!

Their infrastructure spans six continents and consists of more than 700 servers as well as third party edge infrastructure. Most of these servers are bare metal, which act as endpoints for speed tests and other measurement traffic. These have very high bandwidth - sometimes 100Gbit/s! Their broader infrastructure uses a mixture of bare metal and cloud-hosted services.

They use MySQL for their smaller databases, and Presto (built on top of Hadoop) for their data warehouse that powers their analytics platform. Their web applications all run on Apache or Nginx, and are written in PHP, with Java and Go in the mix too.

Our Client is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Systems Administrator to join their growing Infrastructure team. The team is responsible for building and supporting the sizeable infrastructure that is the foundation of their services

The team is small, but motivated and highly technical, and are looking for a strong Test Engineer to come in and hit the ground running, pull their weight and offer opinions into how to make the testing function more efficient. The role is fast-paced and varied and needs someone who is comfortable handling several projects at once, meaning you'll never be bored!

Moving away from only manual testing, the company have quickly implemented an automation testing function, with a focus on Agile testers who are confident in writing the code (C#) necessary for the automation testing.

One of the key aims is to continue this and help implement a sustainable automation test framework. As a result, experience creating an automation test framework from scratch is necessary.

Day-to-day duties as a Quality Assurance Engineer include writing manual and automation test scripts (and automation test frameworks) from scratch, deciding on functional and non-functional requirements as well as performing exploratory and regression testing.

You'll have most of the following skills:

** Creating automation test frameworks from scratch

** Cucumber, Selenium, Protractor

** Ideally experience with C#, but experience with other languages for automated testing

** Typescript experience would be a bonus!
