CIB - Visual Designer - Associate
We are looking for an experienced visualdesigner to join our UX practice within our design system team. We are lookingfor excited individuals to help create a design system that can improvepeoples' lives (at work) and achieve clear business goals. Role Description:
The Visual Designer (VD) role is an integral part of the team. Our VDs areco-owners of the design and identity of our next-generation, bespoke,multi-channel applications. VDs develop the design effort for applications thatare dynamic, information and data rich, highly specialized, and built withinthe scope of the latest technological trends (e.g. data science, block chain,and new application frameworks).   • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards

  • Can skillfully represent the visual design discipline, within a multi-disciplinary product team, when presenting to stakeholders, sponsors, and critics

  • Comfortable employing skills across all stages of the design and development process including conception, design, standardization, specification, and enforcement

Candidates must have:

Software Engineer

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge or understanding of infrastructure components such as routers, load balancers, cloud products, container systems, compute, storage and networks
  • Excellent debugging and trouble shooting skills
  • Experience with Linux infrastructures, database SQL (MS SQL), CI/CD tools(Jenkins, Jules, Maven), scripting such as Java, JavaScript, Python or Perl or Ruby, Scrum/Kanban/Agile methodologies
  • Experience in Core Java, Oracle, MS SQL Server, Unix Shell Scripting
  • Basic knowledge about Development in J2EE, Spring Boot, MVC etc.
  • Experience about Support models - Incident Management, Problem Management
  • Knowledge about version control repositories like GIT

As a Senior Data Engineer you will be working on a platform that will hold data on millions of ClearScore users across the world. This will involve designing and implementing massively high-volume and robust data pipelines that will feed user behavioural data back into production systems. You will engineer systems that will power ClearScore’s analytics which will handle thousands of events per second from users interacting with our product.

  • The data team ingests and processes 90M events per day, peaking at 360k events per minute.
  • We use Kafka, Kinesis, Spark-streaming and SQS for stream processing.

  • AWS, Jenkins, Docker and Terraform for infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Inside out knowledge of the Scala language and Apache Spark.
  • Proven delivery on the construction of Big Data pipelines.
  • Know TDD as a practice and you know how to put it into practice.
  • Proven project experience working on building a Data Lake and understand the value it brings to the business.

This will involve designing and implementing massively high-volume and robust data pipelines that will feed user behavioural data back into production systems. You will engineer systems that will power ClearScore’s analytics which will handle thousands of events per second from users interacting with our product.

About the data team

  • The data team ingests and processes 90M events per day, peaking at 360k events per minute.
  • We use Kafka, Kinesis, Spark-streaming and SQS for stream processing.
  • Airflow, Spark, Spark-SQL and AWS-glue for batch processing.
  • AWS, Jenkins, Docker and Terraform for infrastructure.
  • "You build it you run it" culture, empowering our engineers to work with AWS, Docker and Terraform.
  • BDD/TDD and peer-reviewing enabling us to do frequent yet resilient releases to global markets.

Requirements

  • Inside out knowledge of the Scala language and Apache Spark.
  • Proven delivery on the construction of Big Data pipelines.
  • Know TDD as a practice and you know how to put it into practice.
  • Proven project experience working on building a Data Lake and understand the value it brings to the business.
  • Responsible for what you put out into production. There are no walls to throw your code over and you understand how to test your work end to end.
  • Willingness or experience managing engineers would be hugely appreciated.
