  • Analyse technical and business feedback to propose alternative technical solutions.
  • Resolve technical problems as they arise.
  • Inform various stakeholders about any risks with technical solutions.

  • Continually research current and emerging technologies, proposing changes where appropriate.

  • Extensive experience of building highly available critical systems using Core Java, C/C++/C#, Python, Linux, SQL or other relational database

  • Experience developing automations in RPA platforms (Workfusion preferred)
  • Experience developing web interfaces using HTML/JavaScript/CSS and UI frameworks such as Angular, ReactJS, etc. Knowledge of automated testing of applications
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, object-oriented design, and understanding of API/Microservices Architecture
  • Experienced in Machine Learning model implementation, integration insight, model efficacy and model lifecycle management

Alongside managing your own squad of developers, you will also be hands on responsible for the quality of its technical deliverables.

Over the next 3-4 years, the organisation is looking to completely replace all their applications and systems as they upgrade their tech stack from legacy to latest cutting edge .net core, microservices, architecture tech and more. Alongside this, they are in the process of re-launching Business Hub which focusses on delivering products to 700 retail outlets and are involved in various consulting projects where the business are advising in the middle east on how to run & circulate their product globally.

There is approximately a 3year backlog of development work to get through and the existing team have already started setting up Agile, however they need further support in finishing implementing this and bringing in continuous integrations, implementing automation, test driven development, continuous delivery, all while executing a devops culture across the business.
