IT Systems Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities:

Technical Skills required:

  • Advanced knowledge of Windows Server and Linux (at least one advanced level)
  • Competent installing, configuring and maintaining services (Windows/Linux)
  • Competent installing and managing web sever technology (Apache/IIS)
  • Knowledge of the deployment of application server technologies (eg. Tomcat, JBoss)
  • Strong knowledge of network design and implementation principles
  • Advanced knowledge of communications device management and policies
  • Experience of cloud platforms (Azure/ Amazon AWS)
  • Experience with virtualisation tools (eg. VMWare/HyperV)
  • Knowledge of DBMS solutions such as Oracle or SQLServer
  • Knowledge of EDI principles and configuration of SFTP, HTTPS and digital certificates
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure monitoring
