A flourishing London based start-up have just received new round of investment and are beginning the next phase of their growth. One of the areas they want to grow is the customer insights team, so they are looking to find the next member of the team.

In this role your main focus and responsibilities will be geared towards delivering valuable insights into their customer base. How do their customers use and interact with the product and how can you improve that? These are the sorts of questions you'll endeavour to answer. Your work will reveal information and understanding that will help the business make well informed and data driven decisions that will drive actions across the business.

Responsibilities

• Extract data from Postgres database
• Carry out thorough data analysis of customer usage and behaviour to reveal trends and patterns and understand how customers interact with the platform
• Draw insightful conclusions from your analysis that can be turned into insightful outputs and actions that will drive performance and positive results
• Create and maintain dashboards for both customers and internal teams
• Create data stories using powerful visualisations that are engaging for customers

Requirements

• Strong SQL skills are imperative
• Knowledge of statistical techniques such as segmentation, regression modelling, clustering etc.
• Knowledge of data visualisation tools (Power BI/Tableau/SpotFire/Chartio…)
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Proven experience in similar role, using data analysis to provide customer insights

Systems Tester -Kent

Well established Fintech in Kent is looking to expand their test team with two new System Testers.

You will need a positive attitude and a strong work ethic to join their friendly team working in a fast paced environment.

Your responsibiities as a Tester:

Carrying out functional testing, integration testing and performance testing

• Preparing Test plans and Writing User Stories
• Test case execution and Test case management using JIRA Agile
• Raising, documenting and tracking test bugs in JIRA
• Communicating and working close with analysts and developers
• Running manual and automated tests
• Developing and maintaining automated test cases using an in-house Selenium based tool
• Ad hoc projects as required

You will have a:

* Good understanding of Life and Pensions
