I've been working with this fantastic data intelligence company for a while now, helping to build out their team of talented Developers, Scientists and Analysts. Over the past decade they have built up an enviable reputation as a leading provider of advanced data and analytic solutions. They have just opened a brand new, and fully kitted out office in central Bristol, a stones' throw from Temple Meads, and are looking to bring a number of DevOps Engineers into the fold to develop and improve their production and delivery capabilities.

Working alongside a top bunch of talented people, you'll be responsible for successfully deploying and integrating their world class tech to customers across the globe. You'll will work closely with their development teams so a background in software development is a massive bonus.

Fancy yourself as a bit of a problem solver? When you're not working with clients, you might find yourself building out new capabilities to improve their delivery process, using your creativity to figure out problems, using new technology and approaches where you see fit.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Linux Admin experience
  • Scripting with Bash, Python or similar
  • Experience with Ansible, Puppet or Chef
  • Knowledge of version control

Not a deal breaker, but definitely a bonus if you have:

  • Experience with cloud based systems like AWS or Azure
  • Software engineering experience (in Node then even better!)
  • Worked with Elasticsearch, Kafka, MongoDB or other distributed tech.

Why you'll love it there:

Working alongside some of the top minds in security, risk and intelligence, in brand new modern offices. You'll get 25 days' holiday, private healthcare for you and the family, solid pension and an employee assistance program.

Whilst they will always be happy to see your smiling face around the office, they appreciate the need for a healthy work/life balance and encourage flexible working hours and a mix of on-site and remote working. When in the office, you'll be treated regular Yoga sessions and a well stocked larder. Outside of the office you'll have multiple company wide social events to choose.

Give me a call for a chat, or drop me your CV, and we'll get the ball rolling!
