This is a spin off from a well-known marketing agency and have seen a 48% headcount growth over the last year. You'll be working with technologies like Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Api's, Kafka and Kibana to help build a new data lake from the ground up!

Keys Skills

  • Functional programming and distributed systems
  • Experience with streaming technologies, preferably Kafka
  • Preivous work on Amazon AWS platform (Athena, S3, DynamoDB,...)
  • Experience with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes
  • REST APIs
  • KeyValue stores database design
  • Experience with integration of data from multiple data sources
  • Monitoring Tools (Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus)

Role Responsibilities

* Engaging all relevant stakeholders to maintain visibility on their service availability, operability metrics, risk appetite, incidents and control effectiveness and to provide robust challenge to the same audience when risk appetites are threatened and instigate the incident process when risk appetite is breached
* Acting as a conduit to the Service Management Practice as a whole from the Technology team, and ensuring that operability requirements are given appropriate focus throughout the development and operations lifecycle
* Overseeing effectiveness of controls to ensure compliance with Service Management and Infrastructure Build policies and standards
* Ensuring an effective engagement process is in place that is demonstrably adding value to all target stakeholders

We are looking to grow our team of .NET Developers to join one of our largest Government programmes on an interim basis. You will be working directly on site representing RT Consulting, liaising with our partners and project stakeholders whilst enhancing the existing software, services, documentation and other such artefacts.

Due to the nature of this project, as a .Net Developer, ideally these Consultants will hold a current NPPV3 or have worked within a police environment.

Your objectives will be to;

  • Work as part of the team to fully design and implement the development of whole stack solutions, including back end data services
  • Assist in continuous improvement to deal with the ever changing and more challenging operational environments
  • Ensure that code is appropriately tested before it is released to any environment and to liaise with business / test analysts, as required
  • Adhere to specific road maps and strategic plans
  • Work closely with the Technical Architects in actively designing elements of specific solutions

Ideally our .Net Developer will have experience in a number of the following;

  • Utilising Full Stack .NET Development ( C#.Net ) interfacing to Microsoft SQL Server back end databases
  • Working on solution delivery and application design in an Official Sensitive environment
  • C#, MVVM/WPF, WCF, MVC, WebAPI, Core and windows server operating systems
  • Writing technical Documentation
