In addition, you will be hands on and take responsibility for:

* Monitoring of security (including data).

* Maintenance of systems - desktops and licensing.

About you?
You will be an experienced IT Support Manager or technician who has ideally had experience leading IT support.
You will also have the following:

* Experience with Active Directory/Azure AD.
* Microsoft Office 365 administration.
* Knowledge of IP Telephony, Linux administration, Cisco networking switching, routing vlans and patching experience.
* Mac OS X end-user support.
* TCP IP networking, including DHCP and DNS.
* Experience with IT support (first/second/third).
* Software development organisation and knowledge of basic software systems.
* Experience within a similar role - essential

 The Infrastructure Systems Engineer will be the first hire within the Clearmatics Infrastructure Operations team, reporting to the Platform Operations Manager. Responsibilities

You will:

  • Ensure the safe, predictable and repeatable deployment of applications and components into the Clearmatics production environment
  • Provide production support, proactively managing and troubleshooting incidents to resolution and preventing reoccurrence
  • Implement documented ITIL processes including Incident, Change, and Problem Management
  • Ensure that the production environment is highly available, resilient and scalable
  • Ensure monitoring, logging & alerting tools are correctly configured within the production environment
  • Ensure defined backup & recovery processes are correctly implemented - perform periodic tests of recovery procedures
  • Ensure the production environment adheres to defined security standards
  • Work collaboratively with DevOps and Engineering teams
  • Provide recommendations on production support best practices (e.g. monitoring, logging, security, IAM) and continual service improvement

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong Linux sysadmin

I'm on the lookout for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join a leading service provider in Warwick. This company offers a great package with a competitive salary including a contributory pension, bonus and more.

** Candidates must be eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC) **

You'll be a systems administrator with strong customer service skill. working alongside technical and security teams tackling server and network issues and assisting with general service desk enquiries. Successful candidates will have a few years experience in server architecture within a customer support environment.

You will have proven knowledge of windows server networkmanagement, be able to dig into the infrastructure, recommend where things are going wrong and help to provide a solution. You'll need to know AD Active Directory inside out and be confident troubleshooting multiple technical problems at once too. Bonus points for a relevant degree such as Computer Science or Software Engineering teamed with an enthusiastic nature.
