Salary: £65K - £75K Basic + 10% bonus + Benefits package (14% pension, private health, etc)

Location: Central London, West end, Fitzrovia. Some work from home time as standard too.

Back on planet earth, you’ll be working to create good-looking, yet elegantly functional Front end React UI’s for some the UK’s best-known, viewed, listened to & on-demand media, across 200 TV & radio channels.

Coding in the latest React, TypeScript & web technologies, you’ll be comfortable working with an experienced, engaged & well-respected software engineering in-house team.

Office environment is…. relaxed. This is in the media sector.

Jeans & t-shirt / jumpers are normal work wear. You’ll need to be comfortable working in an Agile (Scrum) environment & actively contributing your ideas to the on-going development of the product & code base.

You’ll be happy to bring along some or all of the below skill set to this role:

 - Experience with agile working practices and tools such as jira / confluence

 - Programming experience in key technologies, in particular:

   - Extensive experience with React, HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript.

   - Redux, Redux-Saga

   - Npm (or Yarn)

   - Webpack

   - Babel

   - Experience with latest engineering practises including automation of deployment pipelines.

This role is a customer facing and requires our new colleague to have the ability to fully understand customer requirements using the latest techniques, processes, tools and technologies.

Project work will vary outside of creating high quality software products, but some examples include: High Tech, Finance, Energy, Logistics, government agencies , Telecom and E-commerce.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining solutions, sharing information and knowledge with colleagues and customers in order to ensure slick processes, taking specifications and requirements, and being able to deliver on them whilst maintaining a pragmatic vision of possibility.
