You will be joining as an Scrum Master at a brilliant time in this companies history. They have recently, completely overhauled their software engineering function, adopting and pioneering the latest in technologies, moving from PHP to Node and React, whilst also utilising a full AWS Suite. Additionally, their CI/CD pipelines, which make use of Jenkins, Ansible, and AWS SAM to allow for multiple releases per day.
As for their Delivery Function? you will be working with an Agile model which is loosely based on the Spotify Model. This will give you, as their new Scrum Master the freedom to choose which Agile Ceremonies or ways of working fit best in your team and for the task at hand. Most teams will work with Scrum or Kanban, but are given the freedom to self organise and find the most effective way for them.
In order to be successful in this Scrum Master role, you will have proven experience in working as a Delivery Manager or Scrum Master, with proven experience in finding ways to improve the delivery, the quality of your work or remove blockers, and if you've come from an E-Commerce or B2C background even better!
Within this Scrum Master opportunity, you will play an integral part in making sure that their recent transitions are successful, you will be key in helping to define what "good" looks like, whilst also helping to push forward the evolution of processes within your own team, whist also being given ample opportunity to attend training course and progress your career too.
