  • Experience working with a variety of web services data formats (e.g. JSON, XML, ProtoBuf), architectural styles (e.g. REST, GraphQL) and authentication schemes (e.g. OAuth2.0)

Our Chief Security Office (CSO) is a fully global team, with colleagues across EU, Asia, Africa and the US. We support the business in ensuring confidentiality, integrity and availability of the firm’s assets, implementing world class security solutions. We’ve already implemented a strong protection for our business, but we need to adapt to the rapid change in the cyber arena. We need to ensure we detect security alerts quickly, then react, respond and recover.


As an Integration Engineer, you’ll will deliver high quality software to integrate our security tooling together and to other systems within the bank. This includes development of bespoke solutions as well as integration of 3rd party software using predominantly Python programming skills.


What will you be doing?


Integrating systems via API connectivity, building those APIs where they don’t exist
Writing code and testing code integrating them with another system
Automating and streamlining manual processes in security with consideration of the risks involved
Delivering software in an agile manner, working closely with stakeholders and other developers to fail-fast and produce excellent solutions
Mentoring junior colleagues and provide guidance and input on design and capabilities to be built
Building and maintaining frameworks for use by other developers, and be comfortable using 3rd party integration frameworks 
Operating a stable stack of technologies


What we’re looking for:


Experience in developing large complex applications in a Python ecosystem
REST API development both providing an API and consuming from it
