The Application Support Analyst will implement product updates, complete end to end Process Documentation and train new users on internal applications. You will support the business in finding ways for the business systems to improve and assist in testing of new software developments, liaising with product suppliers and customers.

Someone with a "can do" attitude and has an interest in Software Development or Application Support.

The client is looking for a new Uni infra engineer to supplement the existing T&D Technology Service Operations (TSO) - Networks and Hosting (N&H) Team to deliver outcomes for the following hosting transformation workstreams.

T&D Hosting Transformation has several initiatives to implement a strategy to reduces T&D’s application hosting costs, develop a flexible, scalable and agile hosting model whilst ensure data security and compliance is not compromised.

You'll be providing assistance to the admin and control of the Unix infrastructure whilst providing; installations, configurations, fault diagnosis and remediations at off-site client locations.

This role will require you to support internal customer services teams and other personnel if they face any issues as well as being on-hand to provide technical knowledge and solutions across the business.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience supporting AIX systems
• Unix systems admin and performance analysis skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Your own vehicle with a full driving license
• Experience working in a similar role providing technical support
