Network Engineer - City of London - Cisco, Load Balancers, Routers, Switches, Linux, Ansible, C/C++- £90,000-£100,000
A market-leading Investment Bank based in the City of London is looking to hire a talented Network Engineer with a background in automation, orchestration in a devops environment.
Daily responsibilities will include: participating in the planning, coordination and implementation of network automation and orchestration. The successful candidate will be working at CCIE level and should have previous financial services experience.
To be considered for the role you will require the following skill-set:
- CCNP / CCIE

Minimum 3 years of experience as a network administrator or operator is required.

Experience documenting and maintaining networks at scale is required.

Hands on experience in a multi-vendor environment (ie. Cisco, Arista, F5, etc.) is required.

Experience dealing with financial exchanges or brokers/banks is highly preferred.

Proficiency with scripting languages (Perl, Python, etc.) and data models (SQL, etc.) is preferred.

Understanding of the Linux operating system and C/C++ programming is preferred.
