This is a great opportunity for a talented Infrastructure Support Engineer to move into a DevOps / Cloud Engineering role. Our client is a highly innovative organisation building financial markets platforms underpinned with Blockchain technology. They are building up their DevOps / Cloud Engineering team in London so come and help shape it.

If you have some knowledge of cloud (AWS, Azure or other) together with a good understanding of infrastructure (servers, networks) and some scripting skills you can become part of this small team. You will be working with Docker, Terraform, Ansible in a continuous integration / automated environment, scaling systems and building platforms that last. You will be helping to create a framework for developer support with tooling for monitoring, logging infrastructure and applications

You’ll have a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and some commercial experience with

  • Infrastructure (networks, DNS, servers)
  • Previous exposure to Cloud environments.
  • Some scripting skills (Shell, Python).
  • Previous exposure to Automation/Infrastructure as Code (IAC) experience advantageous not essential.
  • A desire to move into DevOps / Engineering.
  • Great communication and problem-solving skills.
  • An aptitude and willingness to learn
  • A focus on delivery.

You will work alongside talented and diverse on and offshore teams, building on this platform underpinned by Blockchain which serves the financial markets trading community.
