Skills/Experience required re role of Senior Operational Analyst / Management Consultant:

  • A strong analytical background
  • Experience working in Defence in the UK, particularly in the public sector
  • Management Consulting skills
  • Ability to work at senior to junior levels within organisations
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise your work
  • Advanced Excel skills to help analyse and visualise quantitative data
  • Knowledge and experience of Excel VBA
  • Understanding of Project and Portfolio Management best practice
  • Awareness of decision-support approaches, such as the 5 Case Model, investment appraisal and cost modelling
  • Interest in Decision Analysis techniques
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A positive and flexible approach to your work
  • A relevant degree, such as a business, numerical, maths, physics, or technical subject
  • Recent UK Defence Security Clearance (SC) would be highly beneficial but is not essential.

This Tier 1 Management Consultancy is now looking to hire a Senior RPA Developer for their growing Intelligent Automation team. This is a permanent home-based position with client-site travel as when and needed across the UK. The successful candidate will have at least 2-3 years of hands-on Development experience and possess additional coding experience, ideally in SQL and/or .Net, Python, VBA etc.

You must also have strong client stakeholder communication skills, with a real drive to improve ways of working and the ability to work well under pressure.


You will also be responsible for mentoring a team of junior developers.

Relevant skills and experiences include:

  • UiPath Advanced Developer accredited (UiPath Solution Architect, RPA BA qualifications etc. desirable).
  • Strong client-facing skills, with experience in developing solid partnerships with the team and client alike, as well as collaborating with others to exceed client expectations
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with experience in proposing different options and solutions for tackling and resolving issues
