My client is a fast-growing, independent travel agent currently enjoying an incredible period of growth. As such, they are looking for an experienced, mid-level Backend Developer to welcome into their friendly team.

Role:

As a Backend Developer, you will be working 9am- 6pm Monday to Friday, collaborating with the Backend Developers and Designers to build out features.

You will be responsible for application optimisation through performance monitoring and unit testing, as well as providing internal support across the business through Helpdesk software.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have previous working experience and a firm grasp of PHP and an understanding of MVC architectures.

You must also have previous project experience, a strong knowledge of SQL and experience with Git, SVN or similar version control systems.

Experience with TDD or Unit Testing and API integrations would be beneficial for this role.

You will receive a salary of £25,000 per annum, dependent upon experience.
