Product Owner with experience working in a technical, software development environment sought by an industry leading business intelligence and reporting SaaS company. As a Product Owner you will sit between the CTO and software development team - helping to translate customer briefs into technical specifications, manage the product backlog and coordinate the agile scrum process. You will lead daily stand ups, weekly retrospectives, bi-weekly sprint planning meetings and advocate for the software development team to the business. To be as effective as possible you should have a technical background - ideally within software development.

They deliver a SaaS product, using a Microsoft development stack, microservices architecture and Amazon Web Services to host.

The successful Product Owner should have:

  • 3+ years experience within Agile SCRUM environments
  • Previous experience owning a SaaS product - taking leadership over product roadmap and fulfilling strategic direction of the business
  • Experience working closely with software development teams
  • Experience leading scrum activities - including stakeholder meetings, sprint planning meetings, retrospectives and daily scrums
  • Technical leadership experience - ensuring the development team are meeting company goals and KPI targets
  • Coaching and mentorship experience - you will be the liaison between the software development team and the business

Our client is a leading Chain of highly successful Estate Agents and is always developing and improving the technology side of their business.

They are now looking for someone to join its very busy IT Team based in their Head Office.

This role will see you working in a small in-house development team for one of the country’s leading estate agents where you will be involved in the development of the company’s core applications, together with work on the public websites and a large application migration project as well.

We are looking for an enthusiastic junior developer, ideally with an interest in software usability and with over a year’s experience working in a commercial environment. Training and support will be available, but you should have a combination of the following skills and attributes:
