Solutions Architect- Staines- £60k-£80k

Are you a Senior Developer with Architecture Experience or an aspiring Architect looking to work with a global brand across 2 major programmes of work?

Our client, a global brand who are an industry leader in their field are looking for a Solutions Architect to work across their Azure platform focusing on the development of both high and low level designs. The Architect role is responsible for overseeing the translation of business and technical requirements into blueprints, proposals, technical tasks and development stories that align with the clients overall technology vision.

Technical skillset required for this Solutions Architect position;

  • Experience of Azure (Service Bus, APIM, Key Vault, Azure Functions, Azure/SQL Server)
  • Experience engaging in the development of both high and low-level design
  • Experience working with;
    • ARM Templates
    • C#
    • Angular
    • XML
    • RESTful services
    • JSON
    • .Net Framework
    • Javascript
    • HTML
    • NoSQL document storage

Responsibilities required for this Solutions Architect;

  • Understands and translates business requirements to architectural blueprints
  • Gathers and identifies solution needs; assists in defining the architecture
  • Defines, creates and evaluates processes; identifies and recommends process improvements; designs solutions using knowledge of business strategy, security, technologies and architectural methods
  • Develops, documents and maintains overall view of architectural blueprints
  • Collaborates with Engineers on the direction for the development of solutions or enhancements.
  • Maintains knowledge of emerging architectural methods and technologies for application to the environment
  • Listens to and evaluates customer needs to determine, provide, and identify high quality solutions that align with customer expectations
  • Provides instruction and guidance to less senior team members on new tasks and assignments
