Job Title: Market Risk Production Engineer

Location: London

Corporate Title: Associate

Market Risk (MR) implements and maintains systems to support Value at Risk numbers for the Bank driving Limits and Trading and regulatory practices within Deutsche Bank. MR is also a key contributor to the generation of Risk Weighted Assets numbers which is used to calculate the Capital Charge requirement for the Bank.

This role is for the MR Information Technology (IT) Production department. You will be responsible for ensuring stable and continuous service availability of MR IT systems. You will also face off to business users and resolve technical issues reported by users. You will be expected to work on enhancement to Production systems in terms of monitoring and automation with an aim to move towards zero touch production environments.

Your key responsibilities:

• Providing fast-paced technical support for all applications
• Managing the estate of Windows and UNIX application and database servers
• Creating and managing high priority incident tickets
• Working with members of the team and developers to resolve incidents, ensuring that affected users and management are always kept informed
• Contributing towards systems enhancements, monitoring and manual effort reduction by using latest Automation tools under the Agile framework

Your skills and experience:

• Deep understanding of server technologies: Unix, Linux and Windows
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Hive/Impala would be beneficial) and solid understanding of messaging middleware
• Strong Knowledge of Oracle Management, SQL scripts, performance management
• Solid understanding of monitoring systems like ITRS Geneos, Netcool and Trivoli
• Experience in Java, Python and Shell scripting

Technical Support Manager – Tonbridge - £35,000 - £45,000
This is an opportunity to work in a well-established company based in Tonbridge that has been delivering software products and solutions to their clients for the past couple of decades.
They are on the lookout an experienced technical support engineer (Network Engineer) to join the business as soon as possible who has managerial experience.

Required Skills
 

• Assist in maintaining all network resources including servers, server O/S, database(s) and storage (SAN/NAS/On-premise Cloud Storage – including capacity planning, growth projections, and scalability requirements).
• Knowledge of the following services including, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLAN, WINS, Active Directory client services. General understanding of Networking/Security technologies (Ethernet, routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, etc.)
• Design and architecture of datacentre technologies including data centre switches, firewall, proxy servers, web filters, load balancers, storage and virtualization from various vendors.
• Layer 2/3 technologies and routing protocol experience
• Supporting the design setup and maintenance of all Citrix Environments
• Experience of supporting Citrix XenApp 6.x/7.x environments - Including build, deployment and migration
• Extensive experience as Citrix systems administrator providing operational support and maintenance for Citrix NetScaler, XenDesktop, XenApp, and Citrix App-Layering technologies.
• Configure, install, and maintain host servers in a virtual (Hyper-V) environment.
• Provision virtual servers and virtual desktops per specifications.
• Administration of a virtual IT infrastructure - Specializing in Hyper-V
• MS SQL and Oracle DB experience – Installation, configurations and maintenance
