About You

You should be a dynamic and driven Embedded Software Engineer who is happy to lead or be part of a team and have proven project and product delivery experience in a design for manufacture environment together with the following skills and experience:

• Software design and documentation, preferably using UML

• Fault finding, test  and verification

This award winning and up and coming start up is looking for an experienced Backend Developer (Go) to work within a small team and be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, deploying, and maintaining my clients backend infrastructure, you will be cross trained to 'GoLang'. 

The successful Senior Backend Developer (Go) will have/be:

Embedded C Engineer - Oxford - 6 months initially

Our client have an exciting opportunity for a senior software engineer to work on a new project in their centre of excellence for railway mobile communications. The project will develop a new generation radio for on board train communications. The resulting product will provide voice and data services to the driver and other on-board staff. It will also provide data communication between train and ground for remote management and other on-board systems.

There is a chance to become part of a small team working from the design through to implementation using the appropriate technologies for this sort of development. The team will make decisions about SW architecture and development tools.

SKILLS:
