A globally scaling eCommerce business backed by billions is looking for a DevOps Engineer to work within their Software engineering team to own the build and deployment of their software and drive a continuous improvement ethos working on a highly available and transaction web application.
this is a great position for any DevOps Engineer to have complete influence over tooling and architecture for the way deployments are managed. Reporting directly into the CTO you will be able to drive a lot of change over ways of working and the culture.
This is a hands-on position where you will be leading the set up of CI/CD pipelines whilst also focusing a lot of time on POC's for new technologies and driving improvements to the wider infrastructure. This is all with the view to be continuously improving and ensuring the system never falls down.
The successful DevOps Engineer will have:
Experience working with engineers setting up CI/CD Pipelines
Experience setting up infrastructure as code pipelines: Terraform or Ansible.
A background within software engineering: Python, Perl
Comfortable working within Cloud environments: AWS.
