Our client, an outstanding charity organisation are looking to add to their Care Data and Systems team. Our client can offer an outstanding benefits package.

The position will be to provide Database administrative support, training, project planning, data quality and system support to the Care teams to a high standard and in a timely manner. Work with Data Team colleagues to develop and evolve the Care Data System knowledge and support. Document new and update existing Business processes to support training and system support.

The Care Data & Systems Officer Duties:

  • To provide system support to the Hospice Care teams and other departments when required.
  • To work flexibly, within the Data Team, share knowledge and support in order to retain the integrity of data across the organisation.
  • Ensure data quality control and maintain up-to-date records according to the client's policies and procedures, using the appropriate technology.
  • Oversee, respond to and resolve system helpdesk issues.
  • Take responsibility and accountability for planning, executing and evaluating projects according to predetermined timescales.
  • Develop and maintain system user guides and business process maps.
  • Maintain and generate system reports as requested.
  • Develop and maintain databases for use across the hospices.
  • Assist in the development, testing and implementation of new developments, features and processes to maximise the benefits of the care data information systems.
  • Prepare and deliver training to internal and external users. This will include travel across the region and include some planned flexible working outside of normal office hours.
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with colleagues, external professionals and system developers.
  • Provide mentorship and support to colleagues, trainees and apprentices as required.
  • To promote the safety of the clients the post holder will observe and report to the appropriate management any child whose well-being gives cause for concern.
  • Maintain an awareness of the multicultural nature of the West Midlands area and help to ensure that our service delivery is appropriate to meet those diverse needs.
  • To act as an ambassador for the client raising awareness of its charitable aims and objectives and enhancing its reputation through exemplary behaviour, conduct and team working.

Our Perfect Care Data & Systems Officer Will Have the Following Experience / Skills:

  • Extensive experience of Microsoft Office suite, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint
  • System helpdesk experience
  • Knowledge of Azuecare / care system or worked as a superuser on system
  • Database Administration. Inc UAT
  • Producing data reports from pre-determined reports
  • Knowledge of project planning and project lifecycles
  • Data quality and analysis
  • Awareness of Safeguarding
  • SQL experience
  • Would be great to have a qualification such as NVQ Level 2 or equivalent; or relevant data system administrative experience or a data analysis and insights qualification
