Are you an enthusiastic and reliable Project Manager with landscaping construction background, based in West London and seeking a salary between GBP40,000 and GBP50,000 per annum (DOE)?
We are looking for dynamic people to maintain, organise and motivate various sites under your supervision, ensuring all services are delivered to a very high standard which meets customer expectations. The Project manager will work in a successful domestic and commercial garden design, build and maintenance company established over 20 years ago.
The successful candidate will work to their own initiative and organise resources to deliver an effective service delivery of management including:
Completing multiple installation projects to strict deadlines and budgets
Day to day running of the business
Supervising and leading a team
Resourcing and procurement of materials and developing relationships with suppliers
Ordering of materials and timing deliveries
Training staff members
Site inspections
Resourcing and managing subcontractors, developing strong relationships covering all disciplines within hard landscaping.
Administrative tasks
Supporting the design team by ensuring the designs are structurally viable
Health and Safety reporting and record keeping
Preparation of CDM, RAMs and contract documentation
The successful contracts manager will have:
A proven record of accomplishment in Project Management of at least 3 years
SSSTS or SMSTS certificate
Knowledge and experience of CDM15
Excellent attention to detail with high expectations of a high-end finish
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
The ability to self-motivate and motivate a team
Managed hard/soft landscaping projects in the past
Proven ability to lead team members towards achieving objectives
Strong IT skills including use of Microsoft Office and smartphones
Evidence of continuous improvement and problem-solving ability
Proven ability to achieve and exceed business objectives
