Based in Cheltenham, the opportunity for an experienced test engineer to showcase their testing skills with a view to expand and master automation testing within a leading Cheltenham based Global Security Powerhouse, working on their Flagship Software Suite holding HUGE Data Sets.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

You will be aiding our ongoing success by lending your strong skills as a Lead Test Engineer within our Cyber Resolution Team as a key member of our Automation Testing department. You will join our Testing experts in helping develop new and existing systems and solutions utilising your Automation and Manual testing skills to help refurbish and update the whole of our cyberspace field. Your knowledge will be harnessed to develop our security software.

WE NEED YOU TO HAVE...

• Strong Automation and Manual Testing Skills
• Creating Selenium tests in Java
• Strong scripting skills and development experience
• Experience in Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment
• Experience of programming languages (Apache Jmeter, Avalanche)
• Experience of Java, .Net and Integration and Performance testing tools.

My client, an innovative gaming company, are looking to hire a QA Engineer to join their team who has a good understanding of working with either C# or Java.

In this role, you’ll be joining as a Mid-Level and will be working closely with your Lead and other Seniors on the project.

Role Responsibilities:

• Ensuring Quality is at the fore-front of everyone’s mind, implementing it from the very start by being involved in the user story process
• Bring a quality perspective in Scrum meetings
• Work within a cross-functional team closely with Developers
• Creation automated tests where necessary (Selenium)
• Work within an Agile environment, following either ATDD / BDD
• Coach and mentor more Junior QAs who are new to the team

What are we Looking for?
