The role

We are looking for a software engineer to develop, code, and test technological innovations in financial and digital services whilst working with internal technical development and business teams and our external partners on technical innovation projects to deliver high-quality software MVPs. You will develop sandboxes and cloud test environments for the Lab's technical assets whilst continuously monitoring and optimising. You'll interact with and advise external technical stakeholders, including GSMA members and other industry players participating in project collaborations, and also monitor and research technological trends in financial and digital inclusion.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering experience
• Programming logic and knowledge in 2 languages (Java, JavaScript, PHP or Python)
• Framework experience in Node.JS, Drupal, spring-boot or apache-tomcat
• Desirable knowledge in OpenAPI (Swagger), Postman, SwaggerHub, Docker, Maven, CircleCI, Git, GitFlow, Cloud Environments (AWS, Azure, others)
• Good communication and verbal skills

A role has arisen to join the team as a Senior Test Automation Engineer, the role will involve assessing the current testing capabilities, putting together a strategy for both manual and automated testing, and executing tests. The individual in this role will be involved with all tiers of the platform to ensure our test strategy is of the highest quality.

The ideal candidate will have the below experience:

• Executing manual tests
