Applications are invited for the IT Systems Engineer role, working within the School of Computer Science on the University's Jubilee Campus.

You will be part of the School of Computer Science Research Systems Team providing, managing, and supporting IT services for Staff, Researchers and Taught Students. You will also be the primary IT support contact for various research and development projects which would include the specification and supporting of equipment with various desktop, server and mobile operating systems and applications. You will be expected to support, troubleshoot and develop systems running Linux, Windows and macOS and already have experience administering all of these. You will handle the day-to-day administration and development of services, the training and educating of new users, and will cover both 1st and 2nd line support roles.

You should have significant, proven technical support experience with CentOS and other Linux distributions, at a level which requires a minimum of supervision. Your excellent IT knowledge will also include the administration of Windows and macOS systems and a good understanding of server and network environments.

We are recruiting a User Support Specialist to join the Research Computing Service at Imperial College London. You will play a leading role in our growing team, provide expert advice to Service customers to provide a high-quality and timely response to incoming support requests.

You will work closely with other team members, acting as main point of contact for service users, and with the ICT Service Desk to enhance first-line response. You will contribute to the public documentation for the Service’s offerings, working with ICT’s Digital Media Manger to provide an up-to-date and comprehensive online presence.

Event Master Central (EMC) is a centralized Corporate Action Event distribution platform within the Information Services Group (ISG).  ISG employs state-of-the art technologies to facilitate the collection, storage, analysis and distribution of corporate action event data.  The EMC ETL team is looking for a Lead Ab Initio developer to join the development team in Belfast.  The team is responsible for building infrastructure to process and normalize internal and external vendor data feeds into a central data repository.  Data is then extracted and distributed to the various business lines within Citi.
