We are looking for the following resource for a Frontend Developer to start a 3 month rolling contract for a large automotive client based in Manchester.

We are looking for developers to work on the completion of an Application Development project. Developers will support the client with the development of internal applications.

The team have the following key skills across the front end and back end but the Front End Developer will only require the skill set for the Front End;

* Spring experience

* Strong focus on OOP & TDD

* MySQL

* Camunda

* React and Redux

* Experience of JavaScript Web Development

The project scope will include:

* Development of major internal application to manage the clients components

* Development from MVP through to fully capable system for 5000 users (an internal app)

* Continuous development based in Manchester Digital Development centre, liaison with Agile deployment SCRUM teams

The teams Software stack across front to back end: Java, Spring, React/Redux, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, Docker, GitLab, SonarQube, Prometheus, Grafana, APM

Spring Technology have been approached to provide experience Backup and Restore Engineers to join a client on a large, well-funded project, based near Glasgow

The successful candidate will have a strong operational background as well as excellent technical and troubleshooting skills and communications skills

Responsibilities:
-Maintain and monitor Back-up and Storage solutions, reporting daily on Back-up successes in order to maintain required SLAs
-Detect and recognise faults and errors on Back-up software
-Liaise with software and hardware vendors on issues if required
-Managing data restore requests using a defined incident management tool
-Perform daily maintenance checks in a SAN Storage environment and provide troubleshooting in order to resolve any faults or errors
-Operational backup administration duties to include troubleshooting, monitoring of system health, performance tuning and capacity management
-React and respond to day-to-day incidents and changes related to backup administration, including disk space, data backup and restore, disaster recovery and backup failures
-Problem analysis and decision making to remediate backup issues
-Monitor daily backup operations to ensure systems are available for data and disaster recovery

Requirements:
-Strong understanding of Back-up and Storage technologies
-Experience of backup products (Symantec NBU, Backup Exec, EMC Networker, IBM TSM, HP Data Protector, Veeam, Evault, Asigra, Arcserve)
-Integration skills and working with different departments (Provisioning, Field, Customer services)
- A solid understanding of cloud technologies, virtualisation and storage integration
-Good understanding of general Microsoft Server, networking technologies and hypervisors
-Windows system administration skills
-Hardware troubleshooting on Windows and Linux based systems
