My client, a high growth Capital Markets FinTech start-up in New York City, is hiring for a Support Engineer with exposure to Software Development, ideally Python, to join them in a transitional role with the potential to progress internally into DevOps, Core Software Development, or Quantitative Development.

The role is focused on becoming a Subject Matter Expert on the company’s innovative Cloud-based Capital Markets SaaS solution and working closely with their clients via ticketing and email to troubleshoot and remedy production infrastructure and software issues in a CI/CD environment.

This role is ideal for someone with at least 2 years of Development or Level 2/3 Production Support experience, proficiency in Python, JavaScript, C, C++ or Go, and experience with AWS or Azure. Experience in a Finance, Trading, or Capital Markets environment is ideal as well as exposure to IT Service Management practices.
