Job Description

The Splunk developer will be responsible for delivering quality Splunk solutions, including building custom app functionalities and visualizations. The candidate is expected to have extensive experience with Splunk Search Processing Language, Python and one JavaScript framework (preferably React).

Job Skills
* Develop Splunk Use Cases, Dashboards, Alerts and Reports based on different sources of data, including databases
* Knowledge of advanced Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL)
* Knowledge of Regular Expression
* Experience with Python/Java, HTML5, CSS and one or more JavaScript frameworks, preferably React
* Experience with implementation of D3.js visualizations
* Good understanding of KV Store and interactivity by using REST API
* Good understanding of distributed Splunk infrastructure
* Strong interpersonal skills, both written and oral, and an ability to communicate complex ideas to all levels of the business

* Working knowledge of Linux administration
* Computer Science degree or other software engineering discipline or equivalent
* Good knowledge of Splunk administration and tuning

  • Translating business requirements into technical designs
  • Leading the SFCC implementation from design through launch
  • Providing solution design for E-Commerce features (product details, search, personalization)
  • Collaboration with different business stakeholders
  • Ensure code quality by performing code review
  • Introduce and develop complex design patterns into the codebase
  • Providing input and direction to engineering resources on design and implementation
  • Cooperation with other engineering teams

Your profile:

  • Solid IT experience and previous experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud
  • Experience in software architecture and application architecture
  • Web technologies
  • Expert on SFCC Site genesis framework
  • JavaScript Frameworks/API's such as Angular/jQuery/React advantageous
  • HandsOn experience using ISMLs, JS Controllers, pipelines, Demandware scripts,OCAPI
