About Us:

Finanum is an early-stage Fintech/Proptech startup whose mission is to ensure every individual is able to realise their dream of owning a home. We are building a digital platform helping millions of aspiring homeowners in the UK to save for their homes in a way that is smart, simple and dynamic. The journey of saving for a home is mindboggling and difficult. We take the stress out by telling them what they can afford in their desired area and timeframe, how much to save, and by providing tools and personalised nudges to help them achieve their target.

To date, we have built a functioning web-based prototype, and are now looking to expand our core team and further develop our product for launch.

We are looking for…

A Tech Lead who can provide sound technical leadership in all aspects of our business on a day-to-day basis. You will be part of our core team, initially part-time with a view to going full-time.

You would be…

  • Devising technical strategy and managing a technical roadmap.
  • Designing, developing and managing web/mobile platforms from MVP to a platform supporting thousands of users. You will have a broad remit covering platform architecture, cloud-based infrastructure, databases, IT and information security, user experience design, coding and code reviews, product development, and user testing.
  • Selecting external technical partners, and over time building and managing a team of internal technical talent.

You would ideally have…

  • A solid background in software development - knowledge in system architecture, software design and programming, with preferable proficiency in .Net (C#), React/Redux, and HTML/CSS.
  • Some experience managing projects and technical talent/teams.
  • Knowledge of the current technologies and emerging trends.
  • An ability to build products based on customer needs.
  • 5+ years of proven experience or similar role. Relevant experience either working in a startup, Fintech/Proptech or building a customer-facing product is a plus.

This is for you if you…

  • Are seeking a new challenge and an opportunity to learn and grow.
  • Want to be part of an innovative start-up with an important mission and great ambitions.
  • Are looking to have direct impact by shaping our product and future.
  • Are open to flexible compensation packages i.e. part salary/part equity, and flexible working arrangements.

About Blockbonds
Blockbonds AS is a Norwegian Fintech company established in 2015. Today, with a presence in 11 markets, Blockbonds engages over 70 people across three continents. Blockbonds’ mission to bank the unbanked started with a vision to create a world where everyone can manage their savings, payments and investments in an honest, transparent and secure way.

With the current unbanked population at 2 billion people globally, the potential for Blockbonds is huge. Having conducted a global feasibility study in order to identify potential markets to launch its product “SPENN”, Blockbonds has chosen to focus initially on the African and Asian markets of operations – primarily in markets where the unbanked population is vastly represented, with viable technical infrastructure to support the product, and where trust for mobile payments are, to varying degrees, socially accepted and welcomed.

Blockbonds has created a pan-global model, where everyone in the world can access financial services equal to those in more developed markets, completely free, and utilizing the security and transparency of Blockchain technology. The Company is registered in VPS, which is the only central securities depository in Norway, and provides an efficient infrastructure and services for the settlement of transactions in securities and the registration of ownership rights over securities.

A career within Oracle Consulting services, will provide you with the opportunity to help organisations use enterprise technology to achieve their digital technology goals and capitalise on business opportunities. We help our clients implement and effectively use Oracle offerings to solve their business problems and fuel success in the areas of finance, operations, human capital, customer, and governance, risk and compliance.

Who we are looking for

The PwC Technology Consulting (Oracle) practice is looking to recruit exceptional individuals with a proven track record in planning and budgeting technology and/or process (5 years relevant experience). As a Manager within our Oracle Technology Competency you’ll work with the latest technologies and big-name companies on projects that are driving the future of those organisations. You could be brainstorming with the client at the outset of a project, so that you learn how their business works before devising the right strategy.
