My client based in Congleton specialise in timing systems for larges sporting events including motorsport, cycling, swimming, running and equestrian. We are currently looking for an Event Technician to assist with the co-ordintation, set-up and delivery of events.

You will come from a technical background preferably IT, have experience of dealing with clients and managing projects and have a keen interest in sporting events.

Your role will be to plan and coordinate (alongside the sales team), effective timing solutions for scheduled events throughout the year. Preparing equipment and managing / creating documents. With the use of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and a variety of specialised software and equipment. Analysing findings and solving technical problems when they occur. On and off site in and out of event seasons. General repairs, equipment set up, equipment assembly, warehouse duties and general daily tasks.
