  • Work in agile teams delivering working software to our customers in a two-week cycle.
  • Perfect your consulting skills to a high standard and professional level, ready to work with our prestigious customers.

What we need from you

Must haves

  • A genuine passion for technology
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn tonnes of new skills and new technologies
  • A go-getter with a can-do attitude
  • Most importantly, you MUST be willing to move anywhere in the UK – part of the job is working wherever the customer is
  • You must be eligible to be able to apply for a UK Security Clearance

The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for the design and development of the client Enterprise Location Intelligence product.

Responsibilities
To develop/test/manage software code in line with the product roadmap, company standards and Good Industry Practice
Set up and manage infrastructure such as cloud/dedicated servers
To contribute to the identification of new ideas, market opportunities, tools, processes, working methods and standards
Lead client meetings, understanding and clarifying a client's technical requirement
Provide technical support for client issues
Provide pre-sales support to sales team, including attending meetings on client site if required
Documentation of development and testing activities and product functionality
Contribute to other programs of work as they arise

Key skills and experience
Significant web development experience using .Net, C#, ASP.Net, HTML5, Sql Server
Ability to work with large volumes of data
Desirable skills and experience
Some experience of spatial applications or data
Understanding of applications design for cloud scalability, security and authentication
Front end design skills
Exposure to Linux
