A Global Financial Trading company are looking for a C++ Developer with proven experience with STL to join a Real time trading applications for multi asset class trading facilities. The firm is a specialist in providing Real time trading and Algo trading applications across the global and due to recent success, they are looking to expand the London operations.

As the C++ Developer, you will be involved in not only the design and development of this project but also involved in the overall architecture of the surrounding software ecosystem. You will be working within a small team of strong developers, whilst working close to and being in direct contact with the middle-office users and the traders.

A global industry-leading Vendor is working with Harrington Starr to find an Application Support Engineer to work in their office in the City.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing hands-on support for Electronic trading systems in a role that will cover application support, system monitoring, problem escalation, level 2/3 database support and the deployment of releases to test and production systems. You will be deploying and supporting complex in-house and 3rd party applications and interacting with various internal IT support functions including development, quality assurance, operations and external 3rd party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve problems.

To be considered applicants must have:

  • Excellent experience and knowledge of real time trading systems in imperative
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows Server and workstation
  • Good knowledge of Networking elements
