You'll

As a Software Developer you will form part of a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary agile product team. We develop simple but highly effective web applications, and are passionate about writing good quality, highly testable, user-driven software. Our software uses modern technologies, consisting of mainly angular front-ends using a combination of TypeScript and JavaScript, with backend C# Web API RESTful services. We adopt BDD and TDD and you'll frequently see us pair and mob programming. If that sounds exciting to you then you'll be in good company.

Experience and Skills Required:

Qualifications and Experience

Education, Skills & Knowledge:

Strong understanding and commercial experience of developing full-stack web applications using either Java or .NETS;

Previous responsibility for delivering software end-to-end as part of the whole lifecycle;

Commercial software development experience of working as part of an agile team;

Commercial experience of developing software within a continuous deployment environment, with experience of using CI/CD tooling (e.g. Azure DevOps, Octopus, Jenkins);

Good technical skills with knowledge of solution design and application architecture;

Experience

Experience of successfully designing and developing sophisticated software products deployed in a variety of environments - Essential

Hands-on experience of coding using more than one recognised industry standard language (e.g. Java (preferred), C++; .Net, C#) - Essential

This job will be in the main office in Cambridge and work with teams across the globe and help define, develop, and improve processor verification infrastructure and methods to support the latest innovations in CPU architecture and micro-architecture.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Significant experience of implementing functional verification environments for complex IP.
• Experience developing re-usable and scalable code whilst having good knowledge of UVM.
• Strong scripting skills (Preferably Python) – being able to develop scripting to support new flows.
• Solid understanding of computer architecture fundamentals
• You possess the ability to quickly understand and apply complex specification details and capable of owning all stages of a project to completion.
• Enthusiasm for complex technical challenges.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team as well as experience working and communicating with remote design centres.

While not expected, it would be excellent if you had experience or are passionate about the following;
