This role will sit within their lending team that analyses how "risky" a potential customer is, and then using machine learning, predict how much money to lend the customer and at what interest rate. They currently have the lending platform built in Java that they are looking to migrate completely to Python, and need someone to come in and take ownership of this whole migration. Your role working as a Python Developer will involve the re-build of their lending infrastructure in scalable, robust Python microservices. You will have complete ownership over this project and will take the lead role as they bring on more Python Developers later this year. Other responsibilities will include:

  • Writing high quality, clean code.
  • Assist in architecting systems and applications
  • Be an actively contributing member of the team
  • Take an enthusiastic approach to Unit Testing
  • See writing automated tests as a benefit
