Senior Salesforce Developer - UK-wide - Up to £85,000 + benefits

Job Description

This position presents the opportunity to work directly as full-stack Salesforce Developer for a Platinum Salesforce Partner and is open to candidates across the UK. You will be given the responsibility of taking full control of the development environment for all of their Salesforce implementations, analysing where improvements need to be made, designing effective solutions alongside the architecture team and developing and testing your implementations using development best practices. The company are currently implementing a Salesforce across a number of products including Sales and Service cloud as well as Einstein Analytics and Heroku.

Role & Responsibilities

Skills & Qualifications

  • Multiple Salesforce Certifications, particularly Platform Developer
  • Agile development exposure

The IT team is a key partner to the business and is a major contributor to its success and future growth. To support the MAG Business Growth plan additional funding is being invested in technology and a number of new and exciting projects have been initiated. In line with this initiative, the Global Equities Technology Department is currently looking to hire an experienced developer in London to become a key member of the Global MAG technology team.

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop software iteratively, from an idea through to production

• Collaborate with the REST of the team, frequently pairing

• Build strong relationships with business users through understanding the challenges that they face, then build systems that will allow them to overcome them.

Technology Skills Desired:

The technology stack is currently functional Scala on the back-end (cats/http4s) and Javascript on the front-end (ReactJS/Redux), persisting to a Mongo database. The application is deployed using Kubernetes/Open Shift. The development team are looking for someone who is familiar with some of these technologies, with an interest in learning.
