We are looking for a CMS Developer to join our busy e-Commerce team and work with the Digital Product Manager and Front End/UX Developer to design and build our web platform using Umbraco integrating this with multiple back-end systems. It will involve complex integrations with third party systems to provide a seamless and fast user experience for both the end user and internal business users.

What you’ll be doing

  • Developing C# .NET Umbraco web applications
  • Maintaining web environment
  • Manage and maintain AWS and Azure cloud environments to ensure they are secure and conform to best practice
  • Developing software to integrate with internal back-end systems via API’s
  • Building tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improving customer experience
  • Performing root cause analysis for production errors
  • Ensuring architecture and code quality of the e-Commerce team
  • Deploying updates and fixes
  • Managing source control using GIT

Who you are

  • +3 years ASP.NET and Umbraco experience
  • Proven development experience with Umbraco or other .net CMS
  • Comfortable refactoring existing code using best practice/modern design principles
  • In depth knowledge of ASP.NET, MVC & WebApi
  • Meaningful development experience in modern frontend JavaScript frameworks, such as Angular JS/Angular, React, or equivalent
  • Good understanding of Umbraco/similar .net CMS architecture and extension APIs
  • Great knowledge and experience of Distributed Revision Control / Source Code Management (E.g. GIT)
  • Comfortable presenting ideas to senior stakeholders
  • Familiar with agile methodology and interactive design (SCRUM KANBAN)
  • Familiar with Continuous Delivery
  • Understanding of managing data into and out from SQL Server
  • Knowledge of SQL Server
  • Good communicator and used to working with a small squad with tight deadlines
