In this role you will be producing 5 axis router programmes using Beisse software, to produce state of the art bespoke products. You will be working closely with the production team interpreting their engineering drawings, ensuring all products are correct first time. You will be responsible for pre-use machine checks and basic machine maintenance as and when needed. This is a new role within the business that gives the opportunity for you to leave your stamp on the role.

Reed Business Support is recruiting on behalf of an established logistics and infrastructure business in the Blackburn area who are looking for an addition to their busy team on a permanent basis.

This role is to work for a fantastic company who really invest in their staff. This role would suit someone from a project management, order fulfilment, logistics, infrastructure or demand planning background but customer facing experience is also essential.

The MD of this company started as an Account Manager and is now in charge of the day to day running of the business!

As Account Manager one of your key customers will be based in the South of England so this role would involve some travelling with a requirement to fly down around once a month to attend meetings at their offices. As you will be managing a key contract our client would like a good quality account manager with client facing experience and experience of working with Public Sector contracts would be beneficial.

Duties include:

  • Develop client account and growth plans and agree KPI's and service level agreements.
  • Start to finish project management with a client that require order fulfilment and distribution services.
  • Manage client portfolio to retain revenue, profit and growth.
  • Identify commercial opportunities by proactive management of the client relationship.
  • Maintain regular client contact to feedback against agreed KPI's and service agreements.
  • Understand internal cost structures and maximise revenue opportunities.
  • Communicate with the operations and planning functions to ensure efficient and effective planning of their client activity and upcoming activities.
  • Generate client reports to ensure client satisfaction and highlight commercial opportunities.
  • Generate client proposals and tenders considering our internal cost structures.
  • Work with the Client Services team to deliver maximum utilisation of skills and competencies.
  • Ensure client invoices are accurate and timely to maximise cash flow and revenue generation.
  • Carry out post activity evaluations in conjunction with all external and internal stakeholders.

Salary is circa GBP25,000 - GBP29,000pa plus the below benefits, working Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (35 hours per week).

Following completion of a successful probationary period employees can enrol onto the company's Academy whereby you can undergo training and obtain formal qualifications, enrol on the pension scheme and will be entitled to company sick pay. Holidays start at 28 days (including bank holidays) and increase up to 33 days with service. They also offer a life assurance scheme.
