SOFTWARE engineer (medical devices)

Duration: 6 months +

Location: Nottingham/Remote

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join an innovative start up within the medical device sector. This company are in the process of delivering a fantastic new surgical appliance which will revolutionise certain surgical procedures.

The successful Software Engineer will be working alongside the management team and one other Software Engineer. You will be responsible for the design, development and testing of the embedded software that runs on the platform, currently under development.

You will deliver high quality design documentation according to medical regulations as well as taking care of any issues found from field testing and deployments.

This role does not require you to be onsite more than one day a week.

Software Engineer Requirements:

  • Experience in working with ISO 13485 and IEC62304
  • Excellent knowledge of C++/C# development, under both Linux and Windows
  • Software development within a highly regulated industry is essential
  • Experience of Python is highly desirable
