The Senior Project Manager is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. • Work closely with Production support, Business Support, Release and Change Management and the Development team in a matrix organization.
• Ensure adherence to audit recommendations trough proactive management.
• The ability to prioritize conflicting demands is an important part of the job. 
• Responsible for providing essential managerial input regarding technical solutions that enable senior management at Business, Compliance and Operations divisions to make key strategic decisions.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE and EXPERIENCE

• Extensive years of software development experience with Project management experience is required
• Candidate needs to be a “hands on” person
• Strong experience in requirement gathering, strategy and application development along with a strong background in project management
• Possessing functional business knowledge is paramount to gaining the respect of the team/product managers and to influence positive outcomes on project analysis and strategic planning.
• Individual should possess strong inter-personal and influencing skills.  Active partnering with the Applications Development Manager, the Production support manager and the Business Product Manager is a key element to succeed
• Proven track record dealing with multi-team and complex project deployments in an ever changing environment.
• Ability to influence people and work across business and technology areas
• Ability to interact with senior business and technology managers
• Ability to work independently and drive multiple priorities
• Strong attention to detail, willingness to "roll up sleeves".
• Candidate is expected to work effectively in cross-organization situations and be enthusiastic about building quality software products with world-class people, processes and tools.
• Experience with Compliance AML/ Customer Due Diligence applications is preferred.
• Banking Knowledge (primarily Corporate and Retail banking knowledge) is preferred
• Experience and knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering, KYC, MANTAS systems is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills 
• Support end-users and the Technical team during SIT and UAT phases of the project
• Provide support on Project administrative tasks (as needed)


KEY CHALLENGES

• Working across multiple technology and business groups within the scope of the programs assigned.   
• Working with a truly global application that has team members and partner applications situated all around the world in multiple countries
• Working in a fast-paced environment with tight regulatory committed delivery deadlines.
• Must be able to multi-task.


CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

Degree:                                  BA or BS required; Masters preferred


Technology:   


• Working knowledge of distributed technology platforms and relational databases is a must.
• Expert knowledge of MS Project, Excel and business analysis tools.
• Experience using HP Quality Center and MS SharePoint
• Experience in enterprise-wide technology development, integration and deployments and excellent communications, strategy and problem management skills. 
• Full understanding of the SDLC methodology, project and budget management is a must.
• PMP or other Project Management Certification is preferred but not required.

As our UX/UI designer, you will:

  • Develop a deep understanding of our customers so that you can design experiences that engage users and support our business goals
  • Research to develop your ideas and present new concepts to the team regularly

  • Well versed with integration of  Junit, nUnit and SonarQube with DevOps process
  • Finding solutions on own to challenging problems and troubleshooting experience with DevOps build & deploy issues in Java / .NET environments
  • Having worked with Firewall ,Load balancer (VIP) setups
  • Handling New Keys / Certificates Requests and servicing them
  • Ability to learn, implement and support tools including but not limited to cloud solutions, illumio, CyberArk, Autosys and App dynamics Monitoring
  • Ability to support Infrastructure Migrations for DevOps components
  • Setup and support connectivity with Partner Applications and other tools
  • Setup & Access provisioning and management for DevOps tools including BitBucket and Functional IDs support for the applications
  • Change Process (Service Now) integration with DevOps setup for automated change validation
  • Co-ordinate and support regular vulnerability and compliance patches for the OS and other software used
  • Expertise in creating shell scripts as required for automation
  • Understanding of LDAP and AD groups
  • Understanding of TLS protocols at server and client level
  • Understanding of different file transfer protocols

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Essential:

  • Demonstrate leadership and project management skills

Position Purpose:

 

This role exists to strengthen the loan origination capacity of RBC Real Estate Capital Partners in Europe in the UK. Although RECP has made strong progress defining the scope and capability of the business and developing new clients, the team has evolved to the point where an additional commercial resource is required in order to continue to meet origination targets and further expand the lending platform in Europe.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work as part of a small team to identify, underwrite, price, structure and close single asset and portfolio loans in the UK and continental Europe

Develop new client relationships and manage existing clients

Overseeing, managing and preparing financial analysis, loan and real estate asset underwriting, property valuations, market research and legal due diligence

Overseeing, managing and preparing of investment memorandums, internal briefing, cash flow models and management documents, presentations and other similar materials

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

 

Required:

 

The position requires a minimum of an undergraduate degree (or equivalent), Bachelor of Business Administration or MBA preferred

Relevant extensive real estate private equity and/or structured real estate finance experience

International business experience, UK or continental Europe preferred

 

Preferred:

Loan underwriting and structuring in the US, UK or Continental Europe

In addition to English, fluency in a European language is preferred but not required
