My client based in Derby is looking to hire 2 software engineers to join their 30 strong team. This is a newly created role that will see you working on multiple projects as well as taking the software development from implementation to inception and on wards!

This role will see you:

*Working in a small / medium sized development team
*Working on multiple projects that range from small upgrades through to large cutting edge real time projects!
*Working with a team of consultants to develop tools that allow the consultants to perform their tasks more efficiently
*Working through all aspects of the software life cycle - from assessing business requirements and design through testing.
*Working in a development environment using C# / WPF to development bespoe software.
*Working with passionate team of developers to add value, solve problems and commit to high standards.

The ideal candidate will have:

*Solid experience in Object Oriented design patterns and development
*Experience with some of the following ( the more the merrier!)C #, .NET, LINQ, WPF, MVVM, NUnit, Mercurial, Git, C++, Fortran, Python, Perl, Functional Programming
*Experience working in a fast paced lean team environment,
*The ability to work within agreed time and budget constraints
*Commercial knowledge and experience in Continuous integration and version control.
*Experience with UI standards and graphical interface design as well as automated test tools such as NUnit, or JUNit.

In return for your skills my client is offering a great salary of between £30000 - £45000 depending on experience as well as a company bonus, flexi - time and the option of remote working 1 day a week, 25 days annual leave. 5 percnet non-contributory pension, Bupa private healthcare, training and development budget, as well as on site parking.

Based in Derby this role is easily commutable from the surrounding area, including, but not limited to Derby, Nottingham, Tamworth, Leicester, Burton .
