WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

As a Business Analyst / Project Manager you will be responsible for liaising with stakeholders to gather requirements and conducting workshops to elicit them - this will encompass both hands-on responsibilities and line management of the wider team. You will work closely with the software development team to ensure clear communication and understanding facilitates the requirements and in turn the desired outcome. Being able to apply your analysis to drive forward changes in a project management capacity is what makes this position so great - you will be the main point of contact! A major part of this role will be to build relationships and liaise, applying your knowledge to come up with the best solutions which will be efficient and cost effective. Your efforts and seeing projects through from the initial concept to completion will have a large impact on both our clients and the company, and therefor the future of the business. Responsabilities

  • You'll be involved in the deployment of applications to internal users from a Citrix infrastructure using XenApp and XenDesktop.
  • Daily involvement in service accountability, taking ownership of support needs raising and managing risks. You'll also ensure the groups CMDB and other service tools are up to date
  • Updating and resolving incidents and problems in line with SLA's
  • Supporting projects that alter the design and development of the hosting infrastructure, largely in driving design decisions taking accountability through all project phases
  • Supporting the execution of the strategy for the platforms which aligns and supports the direction of Enterprise Technology Services

Skills and experience required

  • Experience of managing and deploying Citrix products such as XenApp, XenDesktop, Provisioning Services and Storefont are required.
  • Previous 2nd and 3rd line technical support experience
  • With enterprise-scale experience, you'll demonstrate a structured approach to delivery with a focus on mitigating risks and safe delivery
  • Experience or familiarity with ServiceNow and an understanding of ITIL principles is desirable.
  • A SCCM or Citrix certificate would be advantageous, but isn't essential
  • Experience working within, or alongside, Agile teams would be highly desirable, ideally as a Scrum Master or Product owner
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across the business, at varying levels of seniority

Are you a Software Engineer with C++ programming looking for a new challenge? I am looking for a Software Engineer for a business in North London that develops maritime navigation and surveillance radar products. This role is focused on the design and update of the GUI, the addition of new features, and the interfaces to existing and new sensors will all be within the software engineers' area of responsibility.

JOB FUNCTIONS:
