Information Security Consulting Manager

I am currently working with one of the UK's leading cyber security consutacnies who are looking for someone to come on board and lead their practice that focusses on governance, risk & compliance in the information security space. You will be working alongside some of the brightest individuals within the security world, on some of the most interesting projects globally. 

What you will be doing:

  • Leading the information security risk & compliance team, workign with clients on projects centred around ISO27001, PCI DSS, NIST, Cobit, SOC2 etc
  • Advising clients on their cyber security strategy, governance & risk management

Job Requirements:

My client is offering between £80,000 - £100,000 (DOE) + a significant benefits package & a performance linked bonus, that goes as high as 25% of basic salary

Day-to-day responsibilities will be comprised of:

  • Providing direct support to senior DCM originators with the aim to win new bond mandates
  • Taking the lead in the preparation of marketing materials for client meetings, preparing and presenting internal committee memos, and ensuring seamless execution through the transaction cycle
  • Preparing multi-currency pricing updates in conjunction with the global syndicate desks
  • Supporting deal execution by means of direct involvement in the deal team (e.g. documentation and due diligence, roadshow logistics, etc.)
  • Preparing weekly digests to be distributed internally covering topics such as fixed income markets, rates and deal commentary
  • Liaising with other key internal stakeholders (e.g. client coverage teams, other DCM teams globally, DCM Syndicate, credit research, corporate sales) to identify opportunities, enhance internal cooperation and to maximize client cross-sell
  • Identifying market opportunities by applying knowledge from various market sources

Education:

  • Bachelor's or masters' degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, mathematics, engineering, or related field

Required skills and experience:

  • 1-4 years of prior experience in a Emerging Markets capital markets or financial markets environment
  • Pursuing or having a CFA designation is a plus
  • Knowledge of international credit and rates markets and global economics
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word, with strong transaction modelling skills
  • Working knowledge of corporate finance valuation and accounting concepts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients and key stakeholders in other lines of business
