Electrical Design Engineer - Multi-Award winning company - Chard

Would you like to work for a Multi-Award winning company? On the electrical design team for a variety of innovative machinery for worldwide markets?

A well-established special purpose machinery company located in Chard, is building upon their secure client base by innovating into new industries and sectors including systems for pharmaceutical, medical and food & beverage industries.

You would primarily be working on brand new systems, right from the point of specification through to liaising with production, as all machines are built and tested on site. You will get to see the results of your work within a short space of time, and be an integral part of the existing design team.

You will be working for a medium-sized family business who pride themselves on quality and efficiency, and be focusing on using AutoCAD Electrical to produce the electrical designs for PLC-controlled and servo-driven machines.

This role will offer you diverse, engaging work in a pleasant team environment where travel is not required. You would benefit from a salary between £35,000 - £45,000, 25 days holiday and paid overtime which is optional but frequently available. You can also enjoy a 12:30pm finish on Fridays.
