My client is a financial firm who are at the forefront of technology and they are currently on the lookout for a talented Telecoms Engineer (IRU, Dark Fibre, Wavelengths, Ethernet, Telecoms, Ethernet, IP Connectivity) to join their Telco Team.

Daily responsibilities of the Telecoms Engineer (IRU, Dark Fibre, Wavelengths, Ethernet, Telecoms, Ethernet, IP Connectivity) will include: overseeing a portfolio of telecom services implementation for the EMEA region. Strategic co-ordination and delivery of Layer 1- Layer 3 private transport, colocation and managed services. Ability to work with internal and external teams on custom build efforts to suit global connectivity and needs.

To be considered for the Telecoms Engineer role you will require the following skill-set:

  • Experience in strategic sourcing of Dark Fibre, IRUs, Wavelengths, Ethernet
  • Extensive experience in telecoms
  • Good relationship building and negotiations skills
  • Understanding and proficiency of Ethernet and IP connectivity
  • Financial services experience - beneficial
