We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic Support Analyst to join our Service Operations function based at our Friars House office in London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a real passion for data, along with an analytical mind to start their career within a FTSE 50, market leading organisation.

The role

You’ll provide professional and effective technical and customer support to meet customer expectations, especially in terms of quality and timelines in line with departmental standards, procedures and guidelines. You will carry out technical troubleshooting steps to replicate and solve reported issues and develop an in-depth knowledge of the products and how they’re used by our customers. You will be responsible for escalating customer and product issues to the Product Development Professional Services and Data Production teams, whilst championing the delivery of excellent service to our client’s needs. You’ll manage and respond to all allocated customer cases in line with the Support Policy and internal targets, and consistently achieve individual and team KPI’s. You will be a stakeholder in certain project/scrum teams to give the support perspective and requirements; new solutions/product releases. Also, you’ll provide training to Support Analyst colleagues (2nd line). You’ll ensure that you adhere to security, risk and regulatory requirements such as FCA, GDPR regulations and continuously strive to improve your knowledge of Experian products and services.

We’re looking for an individual educated to a degree level (preferably in a STEM subject) with an understanding and knowledge of relational databases, SQL, Java, also an understanding of SOAP User Interface would be desirable. You’ll have previous experience in a customer facing environment, and be able to strive under pressure, multi-task, whilst demonstrating a serious drive to continuously improve. You’ll also have excellent focus on accuracy, with good attention to detail, and have some experience of data analysis.

The Experian Data Office Insight & MI team are looking for an experienced analyst to join our Nottingham based team. The role is responsible for carrying out detailed analysis on all of Experian’s extensive data assets to provide meaningful insight and performance tracking MI for internal stakeholders and for external use.     • Work within a team focused on producing both insight and MI across both Commercial and Consumer bureau data
    • Be responsible for data preparation, producing analysis and visualizing this in the most appropriate way for the relevant audience to tell compelling data stories
    • Use data transformation and manipualation software to extract and prepare datasets using common tooling e.g. SQL, SAS, SSIS
    • Use dashboarding software to visualize data and analytical tool sets to interrogate the base data including Tableau and PowerBi
    • Support client personnel and/or other departments/divisions within the business line to interpret data and resolve queries.

Our decisioning services are based on a AWS cloud based SOA, where we combine micro services (REST and SOAP) to generate eligibility. Services are built in .NET Core and delivered through our CI/CD automated pipeline through Jenkins.

Duties:

• Work as part of an existing team to develop quality solutions to the required deadlines.

• Analyze current applications and infrastructure for upgrades

• Collaborate effectively to support and enhance the full project lifecycle.

• Review project proposals, evaluate alternatives, provide estimates and make recommendations.

• Support other team members’ development.

Individuals will ideally be qualified to Degree, HND or HNC standard in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related subject and can demonstrate commercial experience of developing applications using Microsoft Technologies

You'll interpret data models and use SQK to produce reports for incident investigation and amendments.

Your key responsibilities will include;

* Advise end users on appropriate action
* Complete Individual Performance Objectives according to agreed measures set by the Application Support Manager
* Undertake stakeholder interviewing to understand current process and gather further information on problems
* Work closely with internal cross functional teams to identify problems
* Work within defined service desk and client SLA's
* Present all changes to Approval Board for authorisation prior to implementation

Required skills for the position;

* Proficient in SQL
* Comfortable identifying and mitigating risks
* Proven Business Analysis/Systems Analysis experience (4 years +)

* Can interpret and construct complex data models
