A Web Designer with solid front-end knowledge and skills in HTML, CSS and JQuery is required by our Tech client in Oxford, Oxfordshire. A salary of up to £25k basic is available.

The successful applicant will train to become a specialist in Ecommerce website wireframing, prototyping and UI design. You will create semantic, user-friendly, accessible cross browser / device website templates using HTML5, CSS3/SASS and JQuery.

The ideal Web Designer will have worked at a web agency or on a freelance basis developing sites for friends, family or local businesses.

You will ideally have experience covering graphic design, web design, hand coded HTML5, CSS3, ideally some experience writing CSS for responsive layouts (mobile), jQuery (working with plugins and writing basic scripts from scratch). Any experience working with CMS and / or ecommerce platforms is of interest, but not essential.

Required skills:

Mandatory Skills

  • Familiarity with SharePoint 2013 / SharePoint 2016 / O365 Product - Central Administration
  • Practical SharePoint Development experience to include
    - hands on experience of installing and, configuring SharePoint, including the development and deployment of custom SharePoint solutions using CSOM and Provider Hosted Apps
    - Development Add-Ins, composed looks, workflows and the use of Remote Provisioning.
  • Excellent development skills with full stack development knowledge - including development toolsets - .Net Framework,
    Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server, C#, JQuery, XML, JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS3, ASP.Net MVC, NUnit,

  • Ability to work intuitively, along or as part of a team environment
