Infrastructure Support Engineer (Infrastructure Cisco Windows Linux AWS). Are you an Infrastructure Support Engineer with in depth experience of infrastructure, Cloud and Networks? IT Service Manager | Man & Supplier Manager | Corby, Northants

An exciting new IT Manager role has been created for a global manufacturing giant that is growing its Northants base. Our client is looking for a strong-willed candidate to provide leadership and enforce policy consistency across the UK's IT function. Whilst you will mainly be based at the HQ in Corby, there will also be some travel to the company's base in Hemel Hempstead.

The company has around 80 staff based in the UK across two sites, with around 3,000 globally. You will also be responsible for 1-2 direct reports.

Main responsibilities:

  • Definition and leadership of local IT service.
  • Manage a team of 1-2 direct reports
  • Managed the future migration to Office365
  • New start onboarding/offboarding and collaboration for best practice from other European sites
  • It would be advantageous to have PowerBI and/or SQL as the business is consolidating their reporting to PowerBI
  • Develop a business case for IT investments to drive future business improvements.
  • Recommend improvement opportunities regarding existing IT processes.
  • Review and management of 3rdparty service agreements.
