IT Support Analyst


I’m looking for an IT Support Analyst to join a growing research company in central Oxford. This is a brand new position, brought about by the huge amounts of growth the company have experienced in the last year! 

The Role


As the internal IT Support Analyst within the business, you will be the go-to person for all things IT. This will include troubleshooting software and hardware issues, setting up laptops for new starters, supporting Windows Server, Exchange, Active Directory, supporting networks and phones, and email migrations. There’s plenty of variety to keep an IT Support Analyst busy! 

The Company


Founded by a group of University of Oxford academics, the IT Support Analyst will be joining an incredibly exciting research company. Based in central Oxford, their office is easily accessible by public transport. Currently at 100 members of staff over 3 offices, the company are looking to increase by 50% over the next 18 months, so it’s an exciting time for an IT Support Analyst to join! 

What’s Required?


Whilst enthusiasm and the ability to provide a highly-personable service are key, it is hoped that the successful IT Support Analyst technical experience and abilities will include:

  • Demonstrable 1st and 2nd line Service Desk / Desktop Support experience
  • Good communication and customer service skills 
  • Experience supporting Windows desktops and laptops 
  • Experience with supporting networks, VPNs, firewalls 
  • Experience with Exchange and Active Directory 
  • Experience supporting Windows Server
