We are now looking for a Senior C# Developer to join our team in Capenhurst.

As a Senior C# Developer, you will:

- Develop data handling and cloud storage systems for our customers
- Work with technology based around C#, Azure and .NET Core and external data interfaces
- Report to the Enterprise Data Architect and work as part of an agile team
- Develop and implement software solutions
- Follow the internal quality management system
- Ensure that all required development steps are completed
- Work as part of a team to focus on delivering to deadlines and high quality standards

Interested? To be considered for this role, you will need:

- At least five year’s relevant development experience
- Solid C# skills, with experience of creating fast and secure date handling services and APIs
- Strong experience with Azure Service Bus, Kubenetes and Microservice Architecture
- Strong experience with data platforms, handling and troubleshooting
- A proven track record of providing the technical design and implementing software solutions
- Experience of writing and maintaining unit tests
- Knowledge of design patterns, OO and SOLID design principles along with quality standards
- A strong understanding of security standards in data handling
- Self-motivation
- An excellent team player mentality
- A keen eye for detail

Ideally, you will have experience or knowledge of MSSQL, Azure SQL, Cosmos Db, Neo4J or other database systems, but this is not essential. The ability to take responsibility and ownership of projects and tasks would also be beneficial.

A leading Charity based in Central London are looking for a the 2nd Line Systems Support Engineer to work close with the IT Manager in supporting the IT services for the organisation.

Your Role-

You will be an IT generalist for the business in providing 2nd Line Systems Support to the organisation making sure the IT services are up and running. You will provide a customer focused IT support to all the visitors and the users of the company. To provide advice and technical support to customers involving the response to incidents, the installation and the support of technical platforms and systems.

Acts as a source of expertise in relation to IT processes and policies. To undertake other areas of IT assistance to the IT department as delegated.

Your responsibility for providing day-to-day IT support and lead on projects delegated by the IT Manager.

Provide excellent customer IT technical support on all client hardware and software, including voice and data communications equipment to all customers.

You will respond to customer IT issues at 2nd line level and manage them as events, incidents, problems or issues in accordance with response times set out in the IT Service Level Agreement.

Propose and aid the implementation of new potential solutions for the departments across the organisation, and to deliver technical skills to IT projects as determined by the IT Manager that involve the delivery of solutions to a technical platform - voice & data networks, client computer hardware and software.

You will have the following experience and Knowledge-

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems incl. Windows 7/10 & Server 2012/2016

  • Experience working with Active Directory (AD) & Group Policy (GPO)
  • Office 365 Administration and troubleshooting of Microsoft Office 2016
  • Knowledge of Anti-Virus/Web Filtering software (Sophos/Panda/Symantec)
  • Experience working with Cloud Technology e.g. Azure/AWS
  • Experience with bespoke applications such Raiser's Edge, Chariot EPOS and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Customer focused with excellent written and verbal communications
  • Ability to work alone or with team in a demanding help desk environment
  • Good technical skills with communications, desktop, laptop and printer devices and appropriate software
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Ability and will to follow set down procedures and adhere to IT standards
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy in inputting data on excel spreadsheets
